Rentuscar, a local car rental service based in Chișinău, approached us for a UX/UI audit due to low lead conversion on their website

users struggled with an unintuitive filtering system and a complex booking form, which created friction throughout the rental journey

the client needed a design that could improve usability and boost trust, while also standing out in a highly competitive rental market

the redesign was implemented in two key phases

first, we launched a fully rebuilt website with a new visual identity and restructured user flows

after several months of user feedback, session recordings, and A/B testing, we identified friction points that still persisted — particularly in the filtering logic and booking steps

in the second phase, we fine-tuned these specific areas to further reduce cognitive load, improve task completion rates, and ensure a smoother experience across devices
